🧥 Essential Riding Gear Guide

UK legal requirements and gear recommendations

Helmet (Legal Requirement)

⚠️ Wearing a helmet is a legal requirement when riding a motorcycle in the UK. You cannot use a non-approved helmet!

UK-approved helmet standards:
UNECE 22.05 — still legal and valid
UNECE 22.06 — the latest standard
• BS 6658:1985 + BSI Kitemark

💷 Budget: £80–£250 (good quality)
Recommended brands: Shoei, Arai, AGV, HJC, Shark, Scorpion, Schuberth, Bell, LS2

🔹 Full-face helmets are recommended. NEVER buy a used helmet — drop damage is invisible from outside.
